ESTA application refused: what are the reasons?

When applying for ESTA, it is possible that the application will be denied. The conditions for granting such an authorization are particularly strict and if only one of the conditions for acceptance is not met, the request is refused.

Recourse in case of refusal of the ESTA

If your ESTA is denied, no U.S. embassy or consulate will be able to tell you the reason for the denial;

If you notice an error on the form, it is possible to make a new ESTA application. You will have to pay the $21 ESTA fee again.

If no errors are found, you will have to apply for a U.S. visa at the U.S. Embassy and fill out the appropriate forms and pay a higher fee.
